90 年代の初頭にファンジン Yellow Pills を発刊した Jordan Oakes によるコンパイル、93 年に副題「The Best Of American Pop! 」と題され記念すべき第 1 弾が発売され、その後はシリーズ化し Volume 4 まで発売された U.S. Power Pop の名作 Comp. 作品の続編として同じく Jordan Oakes による選曲で登場した全 33 曲入り U.S. Power Pop 編集盤 ('04) CD Edit.!!!
黄金期である 1979 年から 1982 年に発売された数々のバンドを中心に極一部 Mid 80's 〜 Early 90's 物まで Jordan Oakes のお眼鏡に適った極上の Power Pop ナンバーが此れでもかと収録、此れまでも内容の素晴らしさに引けを取らない圧倒的なパッケージングで知られる Numero からのリリースという事で写真や情報が満載の 28 ページに及ぶブックレットも最高の出来映えとなっている廃盤作が少量のみ再入荷!!!
