Joy Division の再評価以降年々注目を浴びる UK / Manchester シーン。しかしながらまだまだ一般的には評価されていない Tony Ryan と Martin Hannett による伝説の Manchester Punk Label「Rabid Records」作品 + 関連作品を中心にチョイスの公式 Ozit / Dandelion リリース。
Rabid からの良質な 70's Punk 作品群リリースであった本作収録の Slaughter And The Dogs 1st 7" や John Cooper Clarke, Jilted John のヒットにより、Joy Division が London の会社と契約するのに躊躇し、後の Factory ~ Manchester 大ブレイクへと繋がりました。自身で Razz を主宰し、The Freshies ~ Frank Sidebottom としても活躍した Chris Sievey も Rabid とは切っても切れない間柄で、自身のソロ作品 7" (本作収録) をリリースし The Out の 7" での Art Work (クレジット表記はありません) を担当。本作収録の全 13 曲は Straight Forward な British Punk ~ Post Punk / Wave 一歩手前な前衛的 Sci-FI Punk / Wave Punk ~ 名作 Power Pop と London の Punk シーンにも見劣りしない素晴らしい作品を残していた事が良く解るナイスコンパイル!! 豪華 Gatefold Sleeve / 500 枚限定ナンバリング入りでの Blue Vinyl 仕様となります。 【再入荷/2014/03/27】
